Wrestlers at all of Mike's camps and clinics will learn new techniques Mike is constantly developing and refining. From youth wrestling to international competition, for thirty years Mike's life has revolved around wrestling. Mike understands the mental side of wrestling is just as important as the physical skills.
Traditionally, wrestlers practice for best case scenarios. That is idealist and optimistic , not realistic. A single leg rarely results in a clean takedown. A stand up in a match usually does not look like the stand up in the practice room. What fills the gap between a perfect, clean takedown and the takedown a wrestler usually fights for in a match? Scrambling! Learn to wrestle when things do not go your way.
The daily schedule will include technical instruction by Mike Eierman and guest coaches, drilling, live wrestling, practice matches, and mental / nutritional preparation. Each camp will be limited to about 40 wrestlers. Because of the small camp size, wrestlers can constantly interact with Mike and/or guest coaches and receive their personal attention and guidance.
The camps are held at Eierman Elite's wrestling building. The building is a complete wrestling facility with lockers for wrestler's belongings, a bathroom/shower, a sauna, and over 1950 square feet of mat space.
Wrestlers will need to bring running shoes, wrestling gear, a pen and paper, and lunch. Fresh fruit and Gatorade will be provided.
Arrangements can be made for a limited number of wrestlers to spend the night. Arrangements are also possible for early drop-off or late pick-up. Contact Mike for details.
All wrestlers receive an Eierman Scrambling Camp t-shirt! |
