Seven from @MizzouWrestling Ranked in First NCAA Coaches’ Panel Rankings

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Seven grapplers from Mizzou Wrestling were ranked in the first NCAA Coaches’ Panel Rankings, announced by the organization on Friday. Among the seven wrestlers ranked, four Tigers are ranked in the top-10, including senior 197-pounder J’den Cox (Columbia, Mo.), who ranks first at 197 pounds.

Cox, Lavallee and Eierman Win Titles at the UNI Open

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – With seven ranked teams and hundreds of wrestlers on display at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa, No. 5 Mizzou Wrestling registered nine top-three finishes on Saturday afternoon at the UNI Open. Mizzou had 28 wrestlers compete in the open tournament and three record first-place finishes. Senior 197-pounder J’den Cox (Columbia, Mo.), redshirt junior 157-pounder Joey Lavallee (Reno, Nev.) and redshirt freshman 133-pounder Jaydin Eierman (Columbia, Mo.) all finished atop their respective weight classes.
